Editorial policy

Editorial policy.

How we keep commercial relationships apart from our research, our comparisons and our fit recommendations.

Commercial terms stay separate from fit decisions

Commercial terms stay in a private partner record. Editors cannot sort the catalog by commission. A paying school cannot purchase a higher fit score, veto comparisons, or suppress a factual limitation. We do not sell listing placements.

Disclosed relationships

Paid referral links are labeled “View official program - paid link” and disclosed before the first paid link on the page, near recommendations and beside tool results. If we receive free course access, or a contributor has a relationship with a school, we disclose it on the page concerned. See our affiliate disclosure.

Claims are linked to sources

Program facts link to official sources and show when we checked them. Provider statements stay labeled as provider-reported until we document them independently. Unknown facts are labeled unknown rather than filled with assumptions. Read how we research and compare programs.

Corrections

We correct factual errors when a source shows we were wrong, and log substantive corrections on the page they affect. Substantive corrections are approved by Ekitore Adamase, our editor and publisher. Report an error through our contact and corrections page.

People, credentials and AI

We do not invent credentials, reviewers, testimonials or student outcomes, and we do not publish unverified student testimonials. If AI tools are used in research or drafting, an accountable person reviews the result before it is published. We describe a page as reviewed by an expert only when a named, verified reviewer has reviewed it.
